About_Blank

....to stimulate the arithmetical and logical processes as an extention of the mind. Never before have we been so contented, never before has life been so satisfying. A referendum of bliss, a fabrication of gratification sustained by the benevolence of authority...the inadequacies of the human personality are rapidly being overcome by the social processes of advancing technology. Component lowness, a sophisticated stimulation is the answer. The humanity of authority is proudly contemporary. Control through companionship, combined with economic advantages of the mating structure far surpasses any disadvantages in increased perversions. An infinite translate in the mathematics of tolerance and charity among artificial memory devices is ultimately binary.

Amoeba

Like it or not it's electronic. Amoeba rejects typical stereotypes surrounding the controversial genre of electronic music. Delving into the experimental realm of snips and blips, topped by the foamy timbre of analog melodies, Amoeba brings the meta-message of sound to a multiplex of audio gravel. Amoeba sometimes performs as: hi_dm

dj EZI

With thick layers of instrumentation, samples and beats marked by djezi’s trademark for switching styles (sometimes mid-groove!) to keep you engaged, djezi is able to combine the melodic eclectics of Boards of Canada with the experimental aesthetics of Aphex Twin and the bold beats of DJ Shadow. All while crafting a tightly produced EP appealing to hip-hop, chill-out, and electronic fans alike (with close attention paid to the head-nod, foot-tap, and rump-shake).

Drone Operator

drone operator is robert caperton, a central FL programmer that has been using midi and computers to bother his neighbors since 1994. he is a single white male, age 29, who enjoys romantic candle-lit dinners and long walks on the beach at sunset. he specializes in mangling audio. his lo-fi production ethic somehow enables him to get 60-cycle hum out of just software. he will remix your song and the only thing that will be the same is a single snare sound. he is the kind of brother that will smother your mother and make your sister think he loves her.

Mic Mell

Funky breaks, and something for everyone. A sea of organized distortion, corrupted elegance and electronic hip-hop blended together for your drinking enjoyment. Mic Mell has been experimenting with different styles of music for over ten years. Having gigged with bands spanning funk, jazz, hip hop, rock, latin, reggae, and electronic of all styles (to name a few), he has spent the last few years trying to fuse the many sounds and feels of live music with the glitches and clicks of the digital realm. Always involved with a variety of musical projects, Mic strives to create music that is not easily pigeonholed by genre, but always stays true to a danceable nature.

...There's a permeating, world sound that filters its way deep into the listeners ear while instrumental, organic funk slithers between the 12 cuts on this CDr release...
