We here at ezRPM have always strived to strike a balance between providing a forum for exposing new artists and promoting more established musicians. This approach provides our audience with a mixture of quality music, while still being flexible enough to take a risk on unproven talent. This approach has worked for us, and is not intended to keep anyone down. So not being featured does not imply that you aren't talented, or that you don't create quality art. It just means we haven't been able to feature you yet. ezRPM does look for a professional attitude in the projects it chooses to feature and/or book. Take your art seriously (not too seriously), and you will get the exposure you seek.
Submitting Your Demos
If you've played one of our parties before, we would like to feature you in our
Artists Gallery. If we haven't booked you or you're not based out of Florida, then we would still like to feature you, either through a shout out on our
Links Page or as a feature article.
Please provide the following:
1. The name of your project
2. A short bio (4 or 5 sentences or so).
3. A JPG image of your logo, sized to 231px by 231px
4. A link to your website
5. A short blurb about your site (2 lines max)
6. Links to some MP3s or other art.
Email these things to:
robot@ezrpm.com
[ Please Note ]
We'll get back to you as soon as we can, but can't guarantee a response. Things that will help you get noticed, and could possibly boost your chances:
--- Be a part of the community. You already are, so participate.
--- --- Download our tracks.
--- --- Post comments.
--- --- Attend the shows.
--- --- Spread the word.
--- Promote yourself.
--- --- Get your friends into your stuff.
--- --- Make a great demo CD.
--- --- Get a website. Post MP3s on it.
We're all doing it because we love it. And it's hard work, but in the end, just make good music and participate in the scene. The scene is Open Source. Don't look for handouts, give out your own.
